BMW – Germany’s iconic car manufacturer with 100+ years of history in making different type of automobile engines have a grand museum portraying their history and achievements in their homeland Munich, Germany.
There was a entry fee to enter museum. It costs 12 Euros per person i believe. It can be booked online as well here https://tkts.bmw-welt.com/en
They had luggage storage as well in case if we come with bags. They charge a fully refundable fee for using the luggage storage and upon returning the key they refund it back. We were in need of a large storage box so we paid 10 Euros for deposit. But i believe for smaller storage they charge less. They had a massive luggage storage area below the entry point so it can accommodate any number / size of luggage we have.
The Museum is separated using sections and each section had its own information about the company’s history and work. There was a section that explained how they used force labour during Nazi rule and how they regret that.
To be honest it got bored after some point. There were modification / construction works on some part of museum. There was a section where they made all parts of a BMW in pre-assembled mode like in transformers movie which was attractive. Prior to visiting this museum i never aware that BMW group started its business in making aviation engines. They also made engines for boats.
